Porsche Is Back At Le Mans in 2023

After three years of absence from racing at the pinnacle of endurance racing, Porsche is back at Le Mans in 2023 with a lightweight hybrid challenger.

The Le Mans Daytona Hybrid “LMDh” cars will become the highest tier at the World Endurance Championship & the North American IMSA Weather Tech Sportscar championship in 2023. IMSA is the championship that Ex-F1 driver Kevin Magnussen will be competing in starting next season.

This new Hybrid category will allow competitors to compete at Daytona, Le Mans & Sebring on a budget. Which provides fair opportunity to all competing manufacturers.

Here Are The Specs of These New LMDh Cars:
  • The weight is around 1000Kg or 500Lbs
  • 680Bhp hybrid powertrain
  • Upgraded LMP2 chassis

Porsche holds the record of 19 wins al Le Mans on top of their other wins at Daytona & Sebring.
